The full-scale war has fundamentally transformed the conditions in which media operate in Ukraine. Today, the daily work of journalists is not only about delivering information, but also about constant risk, heavy workloads, and living in a state of chronic uncertainty.

We have prepared an analytical report: "Resilience and Well-Being of Ukrainian Media Professionals in Wartime", which provides a comprehensive assessment of safety, well-being, and professional resilience of media workers in the context of a prolonged war.

The study focuses on:

• how the working conditions of media have changed
• the challenges media professionals face on a daily basis
• the impact of chronic stress on the profession
• the resources that help sustain resilience

Key findings that cannot be overlooked:

⇒ 91.3% of media professionals have experienced threats to their physical safety

⇒ 73.4% work in conditions with a lack of basic safety resources

⇒ 65.6% report constant physical or emotional fatigue

⇒ 48.4% experience symptoms of psychological overload

⇒ 86.5% are open to receiving psychological support

At the same time, the study shows that media resilience is not only about individual endurance, but about systemic conditions, support mechanisms, and the environment in which people work.

The study involved 368 media professionals from different regions of Ukraine.

We sincerely thank each participant for their trust, openness, and willingness to share their experiences — this made the research truly in-depth and representative.

The report includes not only data, but also deeper analysis, lived experiences of media professionals, and practical recommendations to strengthen the sector's resilience.
